HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED THE FOLLOWING?
Some common conditions where your massage therapist will be able to assist you:
Massage Therapy is the hands on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including; fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints. The effects of massage are physiologic and psychological. The effects work in concert on the systems of the body including the cardiovascular, lymphatic, skeletal, soft tissues and the neuroanatomy.
An increase in circulation results in the body having an increased ability to rid itself of the wastes created when the cells of our component tissues process energy and nutrients, known as metabolites.
Massage Therapy is a complimentary therapy which can be used with success by all people, at any age.
In Ontario, to become a Registered Massage Therapist, a candidate must first graduate from an accredited facility adhering to a minimum 2200 hour training program. Upon graduation, candidates are then eligible for examination with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Successful completion of this rigorous and comprehensive examination, allows candidates to then become Registered Massage Therapists with the CMTO.
Doctors, plumbers, lawyers, tellers, landscapers and receptionists, just to name a few, are all people who have sought out and benefited from the results registered massage therapy offers.
Massage Therapy reduces stress and anxiety yielding a sense of wellbeing and relaxation.

Corporate Wellness
Employee loyalty today is not what it once was. In times of contract employment and mobility, companies may struggle internally with retaining their top performers and dedicated staffers. By deploying strategies to offer employees health & wellness information and support, a relationship of care is established. Taking charge and being on the edge of initiating a healthy attitude and transferring that to the workplace elevates people. It tells them that they too can be strong in their mind and body. It fosters a sense of belonging to a good community. It breeds loyalty, dedication and trust. Give to your workforce and they will pay you handsomely.
Myokinetic Massage Therapy and affiliates provide a resource to their corporate clients that goes beyond the availability of on-site massage therapy. Tailored health & wellness seminars delivered in stages through multimedia, ergonomics from a soft tissue perspective, in addition to on-site chair or table massage.
The benefits of supporting your staff, through developing a health & wellness initiative that works, saves your company time and money.
I invite you to schedule our first meeting at your convenience.
Biography
From the moment of registration forward I have worked and continued to pursue educational endeavours. Being a massage therapist continues to provide me with a sense of discovery as I learn ever more about this complex body we use as a vehicle of our daily lives.
Myofascial techniques, cranial sacral, and yoga teacher training are examples of my continued education. The coming years will expand my understanding of the human body and its functional anatomy as I study osteopathy.
It is my personal goal to offer the best level of care and consideration to each client. Through active listening, careful reflection, assessment, and treatment plan development, it is my belief and experience that the goal will be achieved.
Clients are encouraged to participate in their treatment. Feeling comfortable and confident that letting me know that is happening in your body is helpful, appropriate and further develops rapport based on trust, understanding, and communication.
Your feedback is key to receiving the treatment you deserve!
